Complementary Colors Supply List

Complementary Colors = colors opposite each other on the color wheel Choose 1 pair of complementary colors from those listed below.
-blue/orange
-red/green
-yellow/violet Materials Needed Vi yard each of the complementary colors of your choice
Example- pure red and pure green. Try to get same value of red and green. Pure means
As close to a red without any yellow/orange or blue in it.
-For each complementary color-
-1 fat quarter tint (light)
-1 fat quarter shade (shade)
Again try to get same values of tints and shades. You will then have three colors for each one you chose. Example, pure red, red tint (light) and red shade (shade).
Fusible- come to class with the fusible attached fat quarters of complementary, shades and Tints, ready to work.
-Background pieces- at least 1-2 backgrounds (8" x 10") of your complementary colors. I.e. pure red and pure green. Also 2-3 white backgrounds (8" x If/)
-Rotary cutter and mat
-Pins
-iron/ironing surface
-extension cord
-scissors
-pen, pencils
-Color wheel
